Skin cancer does not just appear out of the blue (sky), but our Faster Than Skincancer & Melanoompunt paratroopers sure did last weekend, reminding you that prevention and early detection is key!

The Belgian patient organization Melanoompunt and  Spot the Dot joined forces to launch the Belgian edition of the Faster Than Skincancer  (FTS) campaign.  On September 2nd, they presented the first Faster Than Skincancer: beach & skydive festival in which (young) people were challenged to think about the importance of prevention and detection of skin cancer.

This Faster Than Skincancer event was free for all. All day long people could enjoy the parachutists landing right in front of them on the beach. On the ground, there were all kinds of sports and cultural entertainment such as a skate workshop and live music.
