Seek Shade and Destroy is a skate-themed project aimed at raising awareness of skin cancer. Inspired by the iconic slogan „skate and destroy” from Thrasher magazine, this initiative flips the script to emphasize the importance of seeking shade and protecting your skin. Through this project, we aim to encourage skaters and enthusiasts alike to not only shred on the pavement but also to take proactive steps in preventing skin cancer by seeking shade and practicing other sun-safe behaviors.

Spot the Dot had developed a limited edition skate deck in 2023 along with a few pieces of merchandise, providing chosen skaters to spread the message of sun safety and skin health within the skating community. Unfortunately these skate decks are currently sold out.
